Tristan Amor Rabit (Berlin/Zurich) is a Swiss born artist who works across painting, textile, installation, text and performance. Their practice is strongly process-oriented and shaped by cutting, stitching, layering and staging. At the center of their work are questions of embodiment, vulnerability and fragile forms of existence. Materials, surfaces and space are not stabilized, but deliberately kept in a state of openness. Meaning does not emerge through fixed images, but through unstable relations between body, matter and site. Painting is approached less as a finished picture than as a situational practice that resists final form and remains in motion. Processes of slowing down, opening and displacement are central to the work.

Their individual practice extends into collective forms through Thank You For The Reminder (TYFTR), a loose working group around imagination, gathering and shared attention.
